Yes. Autopay works with funds already in your Kindo wallet — it handles the allocation, not the top-up.
Notifications and Visibility
Will I know before money is taken from my wallet?
Yes — always. You'll receive a notification email 48 hours before any allocation runs, telling you exactly what Autopay plans to cover and what it plans to skip. If you want to make any changes before then, you can log in and adjust or pause Autopay before it processes.
Where can I see what Autopay has paid?
Every Autopay transaction is clearly labelled in my orders, so you always have a full record of what's been paid and when.
Managing Autopay
Can I pause or stop Autopay?
Yes — go to Autopay in your myKindo Wallet and select Pause Autopay. You can pause until a specific date, or until you resume it yourself. Nothing is locked in.
What if I have children at more than one school?
Autopay covers all of your children across all of their schools — you only need to set it up once.
My child's fees are split between two households — how does that work?
Each caregiver sets up Autopay independently on their own Kindo account. Because your school has already allocated each person's share, you'll see your portion as the full amount owing — so you set your share per student to 100%.
What if a payment request requires my permission — like a camp or trip form?
Autopay is not able to process payment requests with permission or consent forms attached. These will show as skipped in your notification email and will need to be paid manually.
If Something Changes
What if a new fee is added after I've set up Autopay?
If the new payment request matches your Autopay settings, it will be picked up automatically at the next run. You'll receive the usual 48-hour notification before anything is paid.
My payment didn't match my notification email — why?
Between the time your notification email is sent and when Autopay processes, things can change — such as new payment requests from your school, changes you make to your settings, or manual purchases reducing your wallet balance. You'll receive a confirmation email and a receipt in my orders reflecting what was actually paid.
What happens if I get a refund?
Refunds go back into your Kindo wallet. From there, your Autopay settings apply the same way as any other funds — if there are outstanding payment requests that match your preferences, Autopay will allocate accordingly at the next run.
What if there aren't enough funds to cover everything?
Autopay pays in priority order based on your settings. If there aren't enough funds to cover all payment requests, any unpaid items will be queued and picked up at the next Autopay run — nothing is dropped.
What if my wallet has funds but no fees are currently outstanding?
Your funds stay in your wallet until a payment request arrives that matches your Autopay settings. Nothing happens until there's something to pay.
