Topping up in advance from your Wallet
You can top up any time from your Wallet, so credit is ready when you need it.
To open your Wallet in the app, tap the Wallet balance card at the top of your Home or Account screen, or go to Account and select Wallet. Then:
- Enter the amount you'd like to add. Your current balance and new balance after top-up are shown as you type.
- Choose your top up method, then follow the prompts to complete your payment. Payment is taken on the next step.
On the website, open your Wallet from the Wallet balance card or under Account, then follow the same steps.
To check a top-up has gone through, open
Transactions from your
Account. The app shows your 10 most recent transactions. For your full history, log in on the
Kindo website and go to
Transactions, where you can filter by
Top-up.
Topping up at the checkout
If you don't have enough credit to complete a purchase, you'll be prompted to top up at the checkout. It works the same way as topping up from your Wallet.
The methods available depend on how soon your items close:
- Items closing within 48 hours— only instant methods are offered: Online EFTPOS, credit/debit card, or POLi.
- Items not closing within 48 hours — you can also pay by bank transfer.
If you pay by bank transfer, always include the particulars and reference exactly as shown at checkout, so your payment reaches the right account. Bank transfers can take up to 3 working days to arrive, even though the funds leave your bank straight away.
