Work and Income Payments to your mykindo account
Kindo works with Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ), so you can access financial support for school items available on your Kindo School shop.
How to place your order for WINZ payment
1. Log in to your Kindo account. 2. Select the items you need (these must be the items WINZ will be paying for), and add them to your cart.
3. Select the cart icon (top right of the page).
4. Review your items, then select Checkout.
5. On the checkout page, check the required payment amount is correct.
6. Under Top up method, select Bank transfer.

7. Select
Continue to payment.
8. On the Pay with Bank Transfer screen make a note of:
- Reference number
- Payment amount

9. Give these details, along with the Kindo supplier number (below) to your WINZ Case Manager so they can arrange the payment on your behalf.
Your Reference number must be provided exactly as shown so the payment can be matched to your Kindo account.
10. Select Continue to place your order.
11. A confirmation message will appear advising that your order will not be processed until payment is received.
12. Select Continue to finish.
What happens next?
Your order will remain pending until the payment is received.
Once the payment is received:
- Your order will be completed
- You will receive:
- A Top Up Receipt, and
- An Order Confirmation email
