Whether you are ordering lunch, paying a request from your school (something the school has asked you to pay for, like fees, a trip, or a donation), or buying something from the shop, everything is available to you from your home screen when you log in. Here is how to get started.
Log in to your Kindo account
- Log in with your email address and password.
You will land on your home screen. From here you can see your Kindo Wallet balance and any payment requests or forms that need your attention, along with quick links to Shops and Requests.
The Requests section only appears if your school uses Kindo for payment requests and forms.
What would you like to do?
There are three things you might want to do. Pick the one that matches your situation:
Each one is covered below. Whichever you choose, your items end up in the same cart, ready to pay.
Ordering lunch
Lunch is ordered through Shops. Depending on your school, this might be an Ezlunch provider or your school's own lunch service.
- Tap Shops.
Find your school and choose its lunch provider. You can filter by school at the top to narrow the list.
Pick your delivery dates. You can select a single day or several at once, and switch between calendar and list view to suit you. Then tap Continue.
- Browse the menu for your chosen date and tap Add to cart on an item you want. You can tap Change dates at any time to switch the day you are ordering for.
- If you have more than one child at the school, choose who the order is for. Make any extra choices for that item, then tap Add to cart to confirm. Repeat for any other items.
On the web, Shops is in the sidebar menu rather than the bottom bar.
Cut-off times apply and vary by provider. Many close orders at 9am on the day, and some earlier, such as the day before.
Payment requests from your school
Payment requests and forms from your school appear on your home screen when they need your attention. The Requests page gathers them all in one place, across every child and school on your account.
- Tap the card on your home screen to open Requests. You can also open Requests from the menu.

- Open the Payment Requests tab. Forms from your school are in the Forms tab, see Completing a form for those.

- Find the item you want to pay. Each one shows:
- the student it is for
- what it is for
- the amount outstanding, and the amount left to pay if you have already part-paid
- whether it is compulsory or voluntary
Tap See more to see the full details
4. Choose how much to pay:
- To pay the full amount, tap Add to cart.
- To pay part of it, tap Partial pay, choose Custom amount, enter what you would like to pay, then tap Add to cart.
5. Repeat for any other items you want to pay. Everything you add is collected in your cart, ready to pay together.
On the web, Requests is in the sidebar menu.
Buying something from the shop
Uniform, stationery, fundraisers, and other items are bought through Shops.
- Tap Shops.
- Find your school. You can filter by school at the top to narrow the list.
- Choose the shop you want, such as Uniform or Sports.

- Open the shop and tap the + on the item you want.

- If you have more than one child at the school, choose who it is for. Then answer any questions or make any choices, tapping Continue to move through them.
- Tap Add to cart. Repeat for any other items.
You can also open a school's shops directly from the Schools section on your home screen. This shows just that school's shops, along with its own notices.
On the web, Shops is in the sidebar menu.
Your cart and checkout
Whether you have added a lunch order, a payment request, or a shop item, everything is collected in your cart, and the final steps are the same.
Open your cart from the top of the screen. Check the items, adjust quantities, or tap Remove to take anything out.
- Tap Continue to Checkout.
- Choose how you would like to pay. Some payment methods have a fee, which is shown next to each option. If your Kindo Wallet does not have enough, you can top up as part of checkout.

- Tap Continue to Payment and follow the prompts to finish.
If you are paying by bank transfer, it can take up to 2 working days to clear, so allow time.
