Paying for items through Variety

If Variety is funding items for your student, Kindo can create an invoice for you to send to your Variety case worker. This process can be used for both Kindo Shop and Payable items. 

Request an invoice

This process is used when Variety will pay Kindo directly for your student’s items.

Email the following information to: helpdesk@kindo.co.nz
  1. Student's full name
  2. Student reference number (provided by Variety)
  3. Email address for your Kindo account
  4. Specific item(s) the payment is for, including the amount for each item
  5. Email address the invoice should be sent to


What happens next

Kindo will create the invoice and send it to you.

You can then provide this invoice to your Variety case worker so they can arrange payment.

Once payment is received by Kindo:

  • The funds are applied to the student’s account and allocated to the selected item(s)
  • The item(s) will then show as paid in Kindo (Shop or Payables)
