Using Online Eftpos

Online Eftpos enables you to pay online on your myKindo account, directly from your bank app.  To pay, you simply select your bank and enter your mobile number, then approve a payment notification within your bank app. Online Eftpos is only available for top ups under $250.00. For any payments over $250, please use alternative top up options.

Using Online Eftpos via myKindo

When selecting the Online Eftpos top up and payment method, you will be shown the available banks.  Once you have selected your bank, and entered your mobile number, choose Submit. From here you will be shown the instructions for your specific bank.

If for any reason, you need to go back, you are able to cancel payment at any point.  Cancelling your payment will return you to your starting point, either checkout or your myKindo wallet.

FAQ for Online Eftpos

How Secure is It?
Online Eftpos is a secure payment method. Unlike other similar account-to-account payment methods, Online Eftpos does not ask you to expose your bank credentials at any part during the transaction, and you can only approve the payment via your banking app. If you suspect a fraudulent transaction, please contact your bank immediately.

Why do you ask for my mobile number?

Your mobile number is used to match you to your bank account and means you do not have to enter a credit card number. Please ensure the mobile number you enter is the same mobile number associated with your bank account.

How is my data used by Online Eftpos and Kindo?

The only data of yours collected is your mobile number, or your bank customer ID number, for the purpose of processing the payment you have requested. Online Eftpos record the time, date and purchase amount of your payment and they retain this for up to seven years as required (regardless if your payment is completed or declined in your bank app). Neither Online Eftpos or Kindo collect or store your bank account details.

What should I do if I suspect a transaction is fraudulent?

If you suspect there is any fraudulent activity on your account, please contact your bank immediately.  We can assist your bank on their investigation when required.  Please also contact the help desk.
